Holiday imagination takes to the water
The Canyon Lake Yacht Club’s boat parade gives local crews an unusual canvas for Christmas creativity. Past displays have resembled a floating house, a train and even a car outlined in lights. From shore, each boat offers a new little reveal as it comes into view.
Then the lake joins in. Strings of color stretch across the dark water, turning one decorated boat into two shimmering images. It is a spectacle made for Canyon Lake, and the neighbors watching together are part of what makes it memorable.
