Fiesta Day: from the parade to the parks
Fiesta Day begins with Canyon Lake’s hometown parade. When the procession ends, the celebration moves to parks and gathering places around the lake. The destinations and activities change each year—and that is part of the fun.

Start on the parade route
Decorated golf carts may catch your eye first, but the 2026 parade invitation also welcomed bicycles, floats, trucks, trailers, performance groups and local clubs. Watching with neighbors is its own pleasure: recognizing a familiar face, admiring someone’s handiwork and wondering what will come around the corner next.
Then the day opens up. Rather than ending with the last float, Fiesta Day has carried on with food, entertainment and family activities at community spaces selected for that year.
Then head to the parks
Those destinations are not fixed. The POA’s 2025 program used Holiday Harbor Park, Sierra Park and the Lodge for post-parade activities, vendors and food. The 2026 preview named the Lodge, the Lodge pool and Holiday Harbor Park, with a different mix of attractions.

Stay tuned for 2027
The parade is the familiar kickoff. For the rest of the day, watch the POA’s current Fiesta Day announcement to see which parks, activities, times and transportation options are on the 2027 program. No 2027 schedule is confirmed in this guide. Canyon Lake is a private community; guests should arrange entry with their resident host.
